Over it 1 Samuel 22&23

But the prophet Gad said to David, “Do not stay in the stronghold. Go into the land of Judah.” So David left and went to the forest of Hereth. Now Saul heard that David and his men had been discovered. And Saul was seated, spear in hand, under the tamarisk tree on the hill at Gibeah, with all his officials standing at his side. He said to them, “Listen, men of Benjamin! Will the son of Jesse give all of you fields and vineyards? Will he make all of you commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds? Is that why you have all conspired against me? No one tells me when my son makes a covenant with the son of Jesse. None of you is concerned about me or tells me that my son has incited my servant to lie in wait for me, as he does today.” 1Samuel 22:5-8

Saul is still on the hunt for David. Dude get over it.  If Saul knew the word of the Lord he wouldn’t e chasing David for David was meant to be King and you can’t kill the word of the Lord for it does not return to him void. Saul kept on trying to kill David and later in chapter 23 the Bible says God did not give David into his(Saul’s) hands.Of course not David was meant to be King.  Saul was king, but he knew that David was next in line. He didn’t like this for he probably thought well they already sing that he’s a better fighter than I am so they’re going to think he’s a better king to. First of all who cares what everyone else thinks. If Saul worried half as much about being a great king as he did about  capturing the next one he’d probably be a better king and fighter. Just get over it. Saul’s spent two chapters looking for  one who can’t be taken down instead of trying to better himself. Why?  All for nothing. Stop trying to be better than the next and celebrate with them. There’s no one more youer than you so to thine own self be true. When Saul’s closest people weren’t going to let him kill David. His own children protected David because they knew he was anointed of God. Hello Saul, look around, smell the roses and get over it!
